Forty year old single-mom to a five year old boy, almost three years out of the relationship with his dad. Together for over 15 years, since I was 22, leaving the security of my marriage was the most difficult and empowering decision I ever made. Now to figure out how to navigate this crazy world on my own, set an example for my son, and have some tiny little impact somewhere along the way.
Everyone knows what they say about opinions.. Like asses, everybody has one. Some are more interesting and fun to look at than others. Some people just like to stick theirs out there anyway. I guess that will be for you all to decide.
In these pages I will share my opinions on many varied topics including Environmentalism/Sustainability, Parenting, Holistic wellness, Spirituality v. Religion, Feminism v. Patriarchy, and the occasional Current event.
I will also share from my personal background with a little game I’ll call.. My dysfunctional family would kick your dysfunctional family’s ass; as well as Musings of Baptist church school survival.

I am alittle late to this conversation, but, I want to reply to let u know i am listening. I am most uncomfortable recording my thoughts
/feelings on pages. But that is selfish to those who follow us. I dont practice communicating alot. I just dont trust any people and i am afraid of judgmental people. So i prefer keeping my thoughts to my self. Thus, i dont have any intimate friends. Even my marriage sometimes feels like a shell. I will be honest about my feelings. Thanks for sharing this space.
